Unfortunately, I live up north in Washington State.  Can't make So Cal, but I'll be in Seattle for the May 15th show.  Good luck to everyone and happy hunting!

Short album, because I forgot my camera and had to use my phone to take pictures. I met D/P and Kyle (bellsystemproperty).

The show organizer published this photo collection.

For this one, grab some popped cord and soda because the album is extensive.

... and if you still have some popped corn left, check out the 2009 and 2008 albums:

I'm almost finished with my photos and will be posting them in a day or so.
I had a grteat time today, I met Jorge, and Remco. Two of the nicest people you would ever want to know, and I'm glad I had the chance to meet them and hope to see them both many times in the future.
Gary put on  a great show, and my first meeting with him toady was all my pleasure.

I enjoyed looking at all of the photos.  Remco has a few shots of Dan and Jorge.  A group photo would be nice.  Thanks for sharing these photos guys.

I have to tell you a story about My North Electric Galion, and Remco.
After I bought the phone, I wanted to wrap it in grocery bags to protect it for the remainder of the day, and the trip home. Remco was with me when I bought the phone, and while I was wrapping it, I jokingly held up the handset to Remco and said; To make it  easier packing would you cut the handset cord of at the base for me."
Without so much as a seconds hesitation, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a huge chrome plated pair of linemans pliers and reaches for the cord, and says sure!!! I almost fainted and he had this big Dutch grin, as if to say be careful what you ask for....

D/P

Here is a group photo of Jorge Amely, Myself, and Remco, in that order.
I paid $20.00 for the Galion, and in the group photo you can see a Turquoise 701 Princess, in great shape, I paid $30.00 for that. Considering no shipping, (well excluding $40.00 for gas) I'd say a couple good bargains.

Nice photo Dan, thanks for posting it.  That's a funny story about the handset cord too.  Even if the phone had been more because of driving to get it, you had more fun than buying it off eBay AND you got to meet the other collectors too.

McHeath

Thanks for the good pictures from everyone about the show, the group shot of some of our members, Jorge/DP/Remco is nice to see as well.  (faces to names)

Great deals at the shows!  I certainly enjoyed the inexpensive haul I got at the San Jose show last Nov.  That 20 dollar Galion was a great buy D/P, well worth the trip just for that.
