Unidentified Phone - Anyone recognize?

These are photos of a phone owned by a web site visitor. I am thinking it is Ericsson, but can anyone identify it better? Anyone know more about it?

That's a French U43.  It may have been made by Ericsson France.  Ericsson was one of several companies that made them.
