Auction 6 - Northern Electric Uniphone No. 2

For this week's auction we visit the Great White North, and one of the prettiest wall phones out there, the Northern Electric Uniphone No. 2.  Fitted with an F1 handset and a British Post Office dial, this one's in a beautiful mottled brown ("burled walnut") bakelite case.  

This phone wasn't used by the Bell System, even though it was made by a unit of the Bell System.  Rather, it was supplied to Canada's independent telephone companies, as was the Uniphone No. 1 desk model.

As usual, entries are due before the auction's final day.

Awesome-looking phone, but I'll bet the cracks & cigarette burns hold it back... I say $10!

That burn can be repaired, the unusual red/brown swirl will drive the price up.

I will guess $178.  I have no clue what it's worth, but brown Bakelite is usually difficult to find---on either side of the border.
