Thanks everyone for all the good input.
I think I do have a POTS line... I think? We have regular phone service, but I have DSL as well. The lines are old - I know that for sure.
With an XLink, will that enable me to just simply answer my cell with my AE?
The other thing I have is an A B switch where I can flip over and dial out with my AE on the land line. When I don't do that, I always have it selected to my Cell Fusion so I can answer my cell with the AE.

The XLink BTTN will handle your landline and your cells (up to three) and ring them all on your AE.

I'm not happy with this update, as well as Apple cramming it down my throat each time I unlock the phone. In my case, iOS 10 breaks my front door lock, which uses BlueTooth LE.  With iOS 10, you have to unlock the phone and have the app in the foreground for the lock to unlock on touch.

Grrrr...

A phone phanatic since I was less than 2 (thanks to Fisher Price); collector since a teenager; now able to afford to play!
