Hi
I have been asked to show a photo of my wonderful and immaculate SS Normandie phone
In my opinion the best looking phone ever made.
Also a lovely 1920s Austrian phone and a 1924 Hungarian phone by Ericcson, from my stock of phones for sale
Cheers Alan

Matilo Telephones

Thanks for posting these. Very beautifull and very interesting.

The Normandie phone, who made it? Are there any markings? SIT or CIT perhaps?

The Austrian phone, who is the manufacturer?

The Hungarian phone, I have one exactly like it, but with a different handset. And by far not in such condition. Painted purple and the innards are missing. Are you sure that is Ericsson? Because that dial is e Standard Electric (BELL) dial and the handset is not Ericsson. Are there any manufacturers markings on it? Do you perhaps have a pic of the insides, if it is not too much trouble?
Groeten,

Arwin

Welcome Alan!

You're quite fortunate to have the Normandie phone in such good condition, without the "usual" chips and cracks.  Stunning!

Hi Took me ages to find a perfect one, as you say they are nearly all cracked and have nibbles out of its sharp edges......although I am in the UK, I really specialise in US phones, I have just finished restoring a Stroberg 1178, one of my favourates,  I have 6 WE 102s and 202 always for sale, as well as many other US phones, I sold a couple of years ago a very interesting phone a 102 in brown with a mottled brown E1 handset, looked amazing it went to a collector in Australia. Nice to hear from you ..cheers Alan
