Some pinstripe artist, after a long day at a car show, anoiting hot rods with his pinstripeing talents....couldn't turn it off!

This don't belong in the "Hideous phone" collection because it's a work of art!

Who knows? Maybe it's even a Von Dutch original!  $$$$$$??

The listing is no longer available, so ebay redirects the link to an auction for an operator's dial.
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.

I don't like this new "re direct" thing EBAY is doing. I was watching it, so they let me see the original listing.

Someone must have bought it. I like the idea of a professionally pinstriped phone.

     GLOBAL MODERATOR POST

Anyone can see the original listing by clicking the small, in blue, word "listing" at the top of the redirected auction, as show in this hyperlinked image from the above post. Yes, I don't like it either. Makes me think I clicked on the wrong link. Add an extra few seconds and an extra click to get to the original listing after it is sold.

That looks very nice...for a doctored phone.

Nice, adds 15 horsepower or more, to the phone easily.

The seller must have seen this thread and started believing it WAS a Von Dutch...at least he priced it that way!

Joking aside...

It was a great looking phone imo

The artist did a masterful job....I came close to buying it on the first listing, myself. If it hadn't been a modular set I most likely would have.

I don't believe it was done by Von Dutch, it's too new. Nice pin stripe, but not Von Dutch in my opinion.
If he did do it, I would expect to see a signature indicating that he did it..

The description on the (3) auctions state "Von Dutch style".
It is interesting enough (to me) that I would probably buy it at the $30.00ish level.
