Proper Posture on the Phone (Humor)

Looking through the Life Google Archives I was struck by the theme of postures while on the telephone.
First we have Marylin Monroe displaying proper phone posture.  Notice the...er...straight spine:

Then as we grow, our postures tend to go through various changes:
