Contempra - Two lines and hold, with Crest Industries board

Several of us have these sets. I don't recall seeing them in NT catalogs or any marketing literature under either company's name.

Any ideas whether they were modified and sold by NT, or whether Crest Ind. bought Contempras and modified them before resale?
