Got home & unpacked. Now I have time to post. So, I was blessed to get 3 phones. 1st the Peking red 302, no cracks, not even in the mouth & earpiece holes (I'm thrilled to have it). I did pay $250. I hate to bargain with other collectors, so I paid the asking price. Second was a black trimline, $25. my wife said I needed it for my trimline collection & I wanted to buy something from JKL for a donation, so I did. The 3rd was an AE40 I got out of a free box in the courtyard on my way out. If anybody on here was the person that put the box of free phones in the courtyard, thank you. They should all clean up nicely.

Gary,

Love the Peking Red 302....Looks like my 304, cord and all! Not a big trim line fan, I have a couple. Free AE 40. With brass trim, no less, nice!

I've never been to a phone show, jealous of that for sure. Glad you and your wife had a good time!

I loved the red 302 - it would go perfectly with my green 302 for Christmas!

Also, I'm a sucker for Trimline phones, especially the WE square-button models. I think they look sharp and love the way they cradle  my face while in use.  Right now, i'm trying to cull the collection a little, and have several Trimlines that will soon be looking for a good home...

Favorite Phone: Western Electric Trimline - it just feels right holding it up to my face!
