I am looking to add to my collection of WE Black phones. I am also trying to save for my Corvair truck so I need to build my collection without spending any money!
I have a "B" mount and a "D" mount, also know as 102 & 202. I am in need of a "C" mount to fill the gap. This is also known as the early WE Spacesaver or 201 type. I need a complete unit with dial &  E1 handset.
In trade I can offer a complete "G" mount, the later WE spacesaver also known as 211, with dial and "F" handset.
I also have a soft plastic 500 in Ivory I am currently restoring or a 302.
If you have one you are willing to part with please let me know, if anything I am offering does not peak your interest, let me know what would! Maybe we can make a deal ;D

See pictures.
First one is the C mount (201) notice the shape of the shitchook arm and the swivel mount dial.
Second is the G mount. Different switchhook arm and dial mount.
Subsets are not needed, I have some.

Actually, these were never known as "Spacesaver", at least not in the Bell System documentation. They are properly called Hangup Type Hand Telephones.

Harry....I always called them space savers too. Live and learn. Below is a manual C1 I recently sold. This was NOS with a partial telephone property sticker still on it. These are very cool looking phones...Doug

"Spacesaver" was the name of the AE type of this phone and the name stuck to the WE version as well.  Personally I like the name "bar phone"

The AE version of this was actually called "Space Maker" by my readings.

Yes, I am aware the Spacesaver name is for AE but everyone seems to call the WE models by the same name so I tried to keep it simple & reconizable. That was a nice looking one Doug. I am looking for a dial one but I suppose I have to have one of each ;D

Does that include the 2211 (I used to have 1), 1211? (did they make one?).
And then all the official colors in each dial type.
Just wondering,

See my first post, only Black. I meant dial & manual but, I suppose if I can get my hands on a touchtone one that would be nice, but I am not counting on it!
