New and not so new forum members are very welcome and encouraged to take a guess. There are no wrong guesses, just one lucky guess. No one knows the winning bid on any auction until it ends. However, it is important to get your guess in before someone else grabs your guess.

New guesses must be at least $20.00 away from any prior guess.

Everyone is entitled to one (1) guess revision as long as it is posted in a reply at least 24 hours prior to the eBay auction ending.

Seller Description:  "c. 1902 Western Electric Number 10 Candlestick Telephone barn fresh as found.  As you can see from the base that this is a transitional Number 10 due to the base being that of the model 20.  Considered by some to be rare.  No markings on the rear of the lug holder.  I am not sure if this is a model 10-A or 10-C.  The 10-A was usually unmarked in the rear of the lug holder and the 10-C has a passing ground contact in the switch which was used on the Genesco System.  I have not attempted to remove the screws on the switch, not sure if that wire is present in the base.."

This is started, thanks to a tip from Jim Stettler, as a "special rules" no winner contest, the best guesser will not be included in the CRPF Auction Contest Hall of Fame or be counted in the CRPF Contest Standings as a win. This one is just for fun, but the best guesser will take a place in the Special Auction Contest Standings.
