Can someone tell me where my tip and ring go on this trimline, they must be on the wrong leads since it will not ring or hangup.  Thanks a bunch. Tim

Tip (green) to L1 and ring (red) to L2. Black ringer wire also should be moved to L1 if it is on G.

Are they labeled, I can't see an L1 or L2, is there a schematic available?  Thanks Tim

Tim,

You can find wiring diagrams by browsing the TCI Library --
  http://www.telephonecollectors.info

From the menu bar, select: Wiring Diagrams / Western Electric.  Then scroll down to the Trimline folder and click on it.  Select the model that's on the bottom of your set's base.

The folder is here:

Since your base is not Western Electric, just use the one for AD1 base:

If the color codes are the same, then L1 also has a white hookswitch lead and L2 also has a yellow hookswitch lead, if that helps. Be sure you are not connecting the red and green line cord wires to the same terminals (C and F) where the wires to the handset plug are located. Otherwise, you won't be able to hang up.

In case there are differences between the Trimline and Trendline, you can also reference the ITT Trendline practices in the TIMM manual:

I moved the black from ringer to B, red from ringer is still on K, can't get ringer to work, all other features work perfectly.  Any ideas?  I know the ringer works, so got to have a ringer wire in the wrong place, any help would be appreciated.  I did scrub the schematics and all wires are correct, but not sure if red and black are where they need to be with this 2 wire configuration. Thanks..Tim

A good place to start when troubleshooting any ringer problem is to be sure you can see a series path from L1 through the capacitor and ringer coil (in either order) to L2.
