Ah, well I do have some news about that lion.

I do have another phone from Belgium in for repairs. It is also a Siemens phone, but I do not think it was made in Belgium. First I thought it was a W49. But after studying the differences between the modell 36, W38 and W49 for my latest buy, I now notice it is a W38 (not a W49) and made in 1951.

It too has these Lion stamps! I'll study it some more and post pics later.

I have some other Belgian phones. I'll have a look inside them as well.

Both RTT 56's I have and another Bell Antwerp phone do not have the lions stamp anywhere! Strange.
