I am looking for some chrome bands. I was reading on one of the threads that they sell them at OPH.
Is that Oldphoneworks, or someplace else?
Thanks,

Oldphoneworks.com is usually abbreviated OPW.  They do sell plenty of telephones with those chrome bands, but I'm  not sure they sell them loose.  It certainly wouldn't hurt to e-mail them and ask, though.

A Google search comes up with the following for OPH:

Office of Public Health

Original Pancake House

Operation Politically Homeless

Going further I get:

Old Parliament House

Old People Home

Orders Per Hour

Open Public Hearing

But no mention of anything to do with old phones.

Phonesrfun

I vote for OPW= Oldphoneworks

I don't remember the older thread, but maybe OPH was a typo.

Regarding a source for the ringer, you could also go out to the TCI listserver (which is an open forum) and post a request there, if nobody here has anything.  Oh and Steve Hilsz always seems to have AE stuff from that era.  You could check with him too.  His prices are always reasonable.  But see if anyone here has something first.
