What is this 500 chassis ?
Notice screw pattern, and bottom layout different.

Looks like the bottom of one of my key sets. Since they have a bunch of extra "stuff" in them, they look very different from the bottom.

My key sets are 564HDs, and this looks very similar to one of them(although I don't have one readily available for comparison).

I just bought/won a 544 office set.  Here's a pic. of the base.

Are they longer than a regular 500, WHY change the screw pattern ???

Take one apart, and you'll see why. There's a whole lot of stuff crammed in there.

Here's a look at the front contact board, which is tucked in under the dial.

Looks like a keyset to me.

Same here. I have a 564B and a 545 - both have the extra "stuff" in there.

So Jester, it was you who picked up that brown beauty. I was watching that auction.

Congrats on that win.   I was watching that.  Mahogany brown and looked to be in really nice shape.

I was wondering who would see that--Thanks , fellas.  This is my first 500 type keyset, so I'm anxious to see it personally.

Thanks for the info. I've seen a lot keysets, but never the bottom.
