Depending on the dial,you might be able to get the dial repaired with German parts.I have seen some soviet dials on ebay but they were mostly newer plastic ones

Just a quick reply...fitted a new dial found on Ebay, more modern but at least it works and colour code same as old. The diagram says its a Tan 6 and shows terminals for the dial. All works OK but could be louder, the original Xmitter and Rec still ok with no frying sounds. This is on Y/T and also a 300type with a strange mark also told it was by Tonsil a name I have never heard of and I could not find it on the telephone....could it be Russian?....peter migette1 on Y/T.

Tonsil is  Polish, made transmitters and rec capsules . Not sure what y/t means.You could temporary connect a good rec capsule of another brand to see if it is louder.
