Anyone ever seen this louvered MP on this AE handset? I have never seen one. Handset is in great condition!...thanks...Doug
That handset came on the earliest AMERICAN ELECTRIC desksets; the deskset with the tall cradle. I do believe that this handset was actually invented by American Electric, and after Automatic Electric took over they gave it a facelift which became the Monophone handset.

Doug,
         It took a long time for me to find one for AE # 1 .

Ray,
        You don't have any of those old American Electric or Automatic Electric Catalogs laying around anywhere do you ?

Terry,
          Now you need to know that I'm operating with 3 or 4 scratches on my disk drive. The info is there if I don't die before I remember it.  ;D  stub

Stub;
I have 2 or 3 AE catalogs. I think the oldest one that I have is 1934's - it's the 1st 4055 i think.
