If you are going to use black cords on it a black fingerwheel may be perfectly fine. What are the dates on it? If it is an early one it may have even come that way.

I reassembled the blue banjo a few minutes ago.  There are more than plenty of scratches in the plastic, but it is cleaner than it was and looks slightly better.  I found out that my supply of parts is quite low on cords and open-center finger wheels, so I had to use ones which are not quite as nice as what I had wanted.

I gave the phone a ringer extracted from a junk 1961 WE 500, and I had to replace the Kellogg transmitter which was nearly dead.  I had a nice looking dial center card in my small supply, so I used it.  I did not notice a date anywhere in the phone.
