I'm drooling ...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280974716130  ( bad  link )

A quick look at Ray's site suggests it's a 162 not a 232

And another one.

Yep; I created that one. It is a type 232; not a 162.  A longgggg and not so good story behind that project I am sorry to say....

Ray's clears are truly a work of art and, nice as the other clears are, these are the clears I would like to have in my collection. You can see the quality shining out.

I wonder how that one got to the UK.
And I wonder why two came up at the same time, and where that first listing went.

A real beauty, and a very reasonable starting price IMHO.

@FABphones - that first link is from 2012 so not quite appearing together!

That is a very nice looking clear set. I was offered a similar factory clear 20 years ago for $3,000. It did have front damage and wasn't chromed on the interior. I did not buy it.

And a bell set cover

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GPO-BAKELITE-TELEPHONES-Bell-Set-Cover-NEW-transparent/253987963828

Starting at £190

That is not a bell-set cover of my creation. That one appears to be injection-molded, and appears to be cast of thermoplastic. WAY too crystal-clear to be one of my castings. Additionally, I only utilize original brass threaded inserts in the bell-set; this appears to have plain brass washers cast within. I believe this is one of UK's Ray Sutphin's (sp) creations?
