Howdy!
I recently purchased this little red Princess phone and would love to get it working again. It sends and receives calls just fine, but the internal ringer stays silent all the while. The only way I'd know that someone was calling was by hearing all the other phones in the house go off. I'm not sure if it's a wiring issue or something else, I'd just rather not have to buy a new ringer for it. Seems like it would be hard to find and/or rather expensive. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Pics of the phone below.

Edit: Nevermind, I actually got it working. I just looked a little closer at the schematics and figured it out.

The phone in all it's glory.

The wires from the ringer connect as follows:
Gray - Disconnected and insulated
Gray with Red stripes - Same as above
Black - Screw #3 on the terminal where the lightbulb comes up
Red - Screw K on the terminal on the right (the big one)

The wires from the telephone line connect as follows:
Red - Screw L2 on the big terminal
Yellow - Screw #3 on the smaller terminal
Black - Screw #4 on the smaller terminal
Green - Screw L1 on the big terminal

Thank you for your time.

The black ringer wire should be on L1, along with the two green wires already connected.

Terminals 3 and 4 are for the dial lamp. If you want the phone to light up, you would connect a 6 to 8 Volt transformer to Yellow and Black in the wall jack.

Thanks! The light would be pretty cool, but it's not on the top of my priority list.
