Hey all, Im converting one of my 302's into a 5302, I have everything I need to create a 5302 except for the plungers, I have many sets of plungers, all different shapes and sizes, but none of them fit.  I didn't think it would be this hard to find plungers for a 5302, I hope someone can give me some info on something I can use.

Thanks....Scot

Scot...I'll put a set of 5302 plungers in the mail to you. Do you need the cover as well?....Doug

Are they different for a 5302? I never checked but I assumed they used the 302 plungers

They have a smaller diameter and a rounded top.

From what I've seen, they look like early Bakelite 500 plungers. Hmmmm...

Here are the plungers I am sending to Scot. See the difference with the thicker 302 plunger....Doug

Thanks for the reference photo, Doug.

I have a jar of miscellaneous plungers removed from broken housings over the years.  Identifying them all may be a challenge.

Does anyone have a "line up" photo showing plunger types with their names?  If not, that would be a good project.

The early small 302 plungers were the same size as the 5302 ones but were somewhat flat on top instead of rounded like the 5302 ones

I see Doug has it covered, if anyone else needs a pair LMK.
