Oil slick solution?

  That was interesting. Another bit of info about hay. There was a small plant in Baton Rouge that had a bad oil spill years ago that was still in the process of being cleaned up. They were using hay which apparently has some type of bacteria in it that breaks the oil down or "eats" it. The down side is that it has a very strong odor of hog crap.

Hasn't hay been used in the past for oil spills?

  If memory serves me correctly, that oil spill I spoke about happened around 1969 or so. I hope something can be done with the gulf situation soon.
