Matilo Telephones

It is interesting, indeed. But not a PBX.

It is a line selector telephone. The buttons let you call to other extentions within the (office) network.

On of these switches is for selecting an outside line.

I saw one of these on ebay UK recently, it had a handset that looked like a G-type and a GPO Handset No. 3 had a lovechild, can't recall what is sold for though...

I think it is called a TD-6.

Red Dawn Factory. Brilliant, isn't. Can't you just see Brezjnev using this thing?

From the eBay listing:

Vintage Russian BAKELITE rotary Telephone PBX HUB Soviet antique phone KD-6 old  BIN $155.00 US plus $65 shipping from Ukraine.

"I am selling vintage Russian rotary mini-PBX office exchange for 6 subscribers. It is so-called telephone Concentrator of Director - "KD-6". It was used before in small offices and factory departments as a desktop telephone of director. Dimensions: 31x19x16 cm. It has quality control passed sign at the bottom – "OTK2". Made in USSR, circa 1970's.  Quality: Electric layout was modified and new circuitry was added. I am sorry - I do not have possibility to fully test functionality of modified circuitry. I can only see that telephone bakelite body and handset are in excellent condition - they do not have any big scratches or remains of usage.  They have glossy surface with all lamp filters (green and red) included. Looks, telephone was almost not used."
