I've picked up on a simple way to rebuild/rewire an ATC built character phone
with ATC internals when the original components fail, particularly the network and tone dial.

The PC network and its bracket, plus the dial {I use the Stromberg 35A-11 dial that SC used prior to becoming Comdial and being bought out by ITT}, and wire it according to the diagram for a SC-2554 wall telephone using the newer SC dial. They will have gray or off-white buttons on the face.

I've also found that the SC dial with integrated network posted on telephonecollectors.info under Stromberg sets will also work in ATC sets.

It should be noted to remember the sl/white and sl/brown hook leads go to the SC newerdial.
