My interests generally run to American phones (and a few British models. But I ran across this one and I can't find anything about it, except that it was once listed on ebay France. I assume it's French but I'm not sure. I'm in love. Any ideas?

That looks very interesting,  I do not believe that I have seen one of those before, but my guess would be that it is an intercom and that the dial was added later.

Hmmm... I'm not sure it's real. Perhaps it's a movie prop or something? Take a close look at the dial and you'll see it just wouldn't function. The finger stop is the wrong way around. But if you reverse the image then the finger wheel is still backwards to the finger stop.

I'm almost tempted to say it's CGI, but I don't think someone doing such bad CGI would do the greasy marks on the black case.

Whatever it is, it definitely wouldn't work as it is in the photo.
