Ever since I acquired the "criagslist bonanza" ( http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=16127.0) I have been on a mission to clean up select pieces of the horde. The time will come when my focus will be on the effort to make sure they work properly.

Today I won a EBAY auction on this BK Percision 1045a.  http://tinyurl.com/hf7o4wx I paid $40.00 + $11.095 shipping.

I have wanted one of these for a while. Three of these were sold last night by this seller. Did you get one?

Not yesterday, I got mine ca. 10 years ago and it still works great.

I don't remember exactly what I paid for mine, but it was more than you did, possibly as much as twice.

I lost the original auction to a last second sniper and because I didn't want to engage in a bidding war.....I received a offer to buy at my original bid, so of course I did....I saw 3 units offered but missed the other two....I'm excited to be able to get this!

I'd realy like to have one & that was a great price but it's not nearly as much fun as bothering your wife by ringing her though the 308 & making her answer the phone ;-)

New toys are great & you still have the 308 to look forward to, it's like Christmas every time I look on the porch & see a package for me. Like wives say "the difference between men & boys, is the price of their toys". I have no idea why they think that ;-) A lot of my friends have much more expensive hobbies, like firearms. I remind my wife of that when I want to spend more than $40 on a phone.

That is so true!...Golf is another one I never got involved in....(my packages arrive when the wife is at work...hehehe...)

I use my 1045A practically every day I am in the museum repairing phones. It is great. I have a zillion other testers of all sorts, but it is the workhorse!
