I just got this crank phone from on ebay .
Don't know a thing about it, and need a schematic.
any help appreciated.
The ringer had been modified, i suppose, for CB work? ???
And the magneto had been disabled.
I have restored the magneto, but bells do not ring in or out. :-\

Black paint, a few vent holes, and a place where a label MAY have been???
Thats all thats on it

It's going to come down to someone recognizing some part or marking. Post some more pictures including the base, no markings on the handle of the handset? I see a logo of some sort on the Ringer label but it's kind of blurry. Only thing I can say so far is there is nothing about it that looks North American but that's about it.

There appears to be a diamond pressed into the handset handle. This is often where the maker's logo or initials can be found.

It would also be helpful to see the pattern of holes in the handset caps.

OK, figured, as usual, never seen before.
I will take/post more pics tomorrow.
Thanks for the replies!

More pics.
The xmitter has T-4 stamped on it.
The Rec has ytc inside a diamond, and R-4 stamped on it.
Handset has, "i think", NTK inside a diamond.not sure there, could be HTR, WTR, NTR???
The bell has YAECON inside a diamond.
Thats about it for identification.
Hope someone knows something about this think.
Thanks

Haf

Funny thing...I can't tell you what kind of phone this is, but I might just found the box :)

At least a picture of it. Wil do further research.

Doing a bit of searching, I found this black different style Yaecon symbol phone that was said to have been found in Cafe Tolyo, Iba, Zambales (a province of the Philippines).

The eBay listing of the ivory phone state it is from Yamada Electric Ind Co Ltd.

Yamada seems to have started in the 1800s in Japan and is now in China but I can find no reference to them having a line of telephones.

That's all I found. Similar but not identical phones seeming to indicate a far east origin.

Thanks guys! any info will help.
Haf, you may be on to something there.

While looking for something else, this page in a partial OKI catalog caught my attention.

Check out the Type H-134.

Unfortunately, there's no more info there and a search of the TCI Library came up empty.
