I just came across this listing for a "Bakelite & Brass Desk Telephone". See picture attached. Price is $1,000.00!

Apparently, the seller was able to use his magnifying glass to locate the proper pictures for the listing.  The phone is a Kellogg Grab-O-Phone.  It looks nice, but not $1000 worth of nice.

AHH, OK. Must have added pictures after I saw it. I don't understand sellers who do that. It makes no sense to me to start a listing if you do not have everything needed to complete it. Waiting another hour or less to get the pictures together would not have mattered. He may have missed a few prospective buyer who, like me, saw the magnifying glass and moved on, never giving it a second thought. Of course at that price it probably would not sell anyway. It is a nice example but way too high!
