I got a question from a customer I am not positive about. She asks if a plain old dialless candlestick will work as an extension without subset or ringer box? I have zero experience with candlesticks at this point. It seems to me it should as it does contain receiver and transmitter but I am not positive so I wanted to check.
Thanks, Harry
You will still need a subset, or an induction coil and condenser mounted in some small box.
Another alternative is to get an AE mini network out of an AE styleline phone and if there is room in the base of the phone use that.
A third alternative is to make a cheater network out of a single resistor and a single capacitor. It will work on most modern phone lines. You can build that into the base of the candlestick easily.
