Yup, that's it.
1. Got a receiver that appears to be dead. "chked with vom, got nadda".
    Where can I get one?
2. Can anyone tell me the true color of this phone,
    So I can order a handset cord?
3. Why does this phone look like a starlite?

      Your phone is a 182 Starlite . My receiver reads 50 ohms. The color is Forget-Me-Not-Blue (K) . Look at the back of your phone base and see if someone has cut the AC cord off for the dial to light up.  Here's diagram . stub

Yes, the cord has been cut flush with the grommet.
I think I can replace that pretty easily.
Gotta get a receiver though...
