Title: Dean Candlestick
Post by: wds on January 29, 2011, 03:27:31 PM
I just wanted to share a "new" phone with everyone that I acquired this week.  I've been trying to get one of these for a while, but they always seem to elude me.  It was pretty grimy when I got it, but it polished up great - other than a couple very small dings, the nickel plating looks like new, and the paint on the base seems original.  I didn't completely disassemble but I think that's a bakelite sleeve on the shaft.  I already had a metal Dean Receiver, so now it's complete.  This one definitely takes the spotlight on my display.

That is absolutely beautiful.  I beleive the Dean's are much harder to find than others, and that one is a great find.

Could this be considered for the next "Find of the Month"?
