Title: Billett Mouthpiece
Post by: HarrySmith on October 12, 2012, 12:20:19 PM
Perusing eBay I came across this wood wall phone and thought it had a ceramic mouthpiece. Upon closer examination of the pictures it appears to be Aluminium. This is a new one to me, never saw or heard of such a thing. Pretty Cool!

Looks like it's younger than the phone itself. Maybe someone made it on a lathe?

Yea, I agree with Remco. It was either recently turned on a lathe (and not very well:), or it was just part of a funnel or something that someone just stuck on there.

I saw it when I was cruising eBay the other day too and at first thought it was a porcelain MPC.
