Autelco Phone - AE40 based?

I didn't manage to win this, but does anyone know anything about it.
It appears to be based on an AE40 but with the single hookswitch plunger like an AE34.

Built by AEs Italian factory.Most parts different and will not interchange.Mine was stolen so I cannot compare them now

I saw that auction too, looks like it got relisted - different photos but same phone (the same marks on it).

The relist showed it was broken on the body case so maybe it didn't survive posting and got returned.  The relist sold for £8 plus postage.

Shame. Nice phone.
