The last condenser I bought didn't have the blue tint, so I never installed it (at least I didn't lose much). However, I found a good replacement that is about the same dimensions of the cracked one, and more importantly has the blue tint. The 708 Headliner Duo doesn't have a separate heat filter, the condenser is tinted blue.

Last post by LarryInMichigan - April 18, 2024, 08:56:01 PMSomething in the handset is probably not making a proper electrical connection. I would try to dismantle the handset to see where the problem may be. I have no idea how the inside of the handset looks.

What does this point to? What should I do to resolve this permanently? Still open the entire thing?

This time of year, the group is quite damp. The results, wet black soil packed everywhere.
They'll fix it eventually but quite a mess today.
At least I'll get my choice back, continue with copper or go to FO.
