It is really rare to find a real chrome marked 233G I have only ever seen about four. There is one on ebay right now in original condition including the relay. It is a nice rare piece.

I have one that looks like it was a retirement gift on a black wood L mount. Looks the same, but I am sure it is not the same....Doug

That's a beauty. It looks to be totally complete as well.

The D-180574 is a coin phone without original coin track and with dummy locks. They were sold in the phone center stores. These were available in green, beige, black, chrome, stars-and-stripes, red, dark blue, and possibly other colors. However, these are no longer marked 233G, 234G, 236G, etc. The one for sale on ebay is marked 233G.

You are correct the D sets that you find usually on a wood L bracket are phone center items. Truly marked 233G's are few and far between any older chrome model like a marked 191 is even rarer.
