I have one more question, if anyone knows.  If I want to hook it up to a candlestick, or a 102 02 202 phone, what wiring connections would I have to use? I'm looking at some wiring diagrams but still having trouble figuring out which is which. Thanks for any help.

The wiring diagrams you may be looking at are probably mini-network diagrams.  This device is not a network, and can't be used as a substitute for one.  It's just a ringer, and using a candlestick or E handset equipped B/D-mount with just this attached will result in the receivers of these phones losing their ability to reproduce sound.  They'll go completely mute over time.  If you hook this up to one of these older phones, you'll still need a network of some type to use with it.
