Since your 592A extension bell already has a capacitor installed, attempting to connect it to the one inside of your 302 is over-complicating things.
If for some reason you want to use the terminals inside of the 302 as a convenient tie-point, for connecting it to the telephone line, then, as was originally suggested earlier in this thread, connect it to the same terminals as the red and green conductors of the line cord are connected to. 
If you find that the capacitor is open, because they are plentiful and inexpensive, replace it with another one-

New capacitor did the trick. Darn thing is seriously load!
