Janet found this at a Yard Sale this morning. Glass is missing but the wires and termination block are there. Decal inside states Union Made, back has 9698 embossed. This is very cool!

Anyone know the maker and era?....thanks...Doug

They used to have those in the old hospital area at Fort Carson, CO

When you pull down the handle, it will send 3 rounds of the box number to the fire department.

The triangle screw is so you open it without breaking the glass.

My guess is previous owner did not know this  8) No fragments of glass anywhere. I am leaning towards keeping it....Doug

I used to have a triangle key that happened to fit those screws.
You can  create one with a piece of brass tube that barely fits over the triangle.
you need a vise a hammer and finesse . take you time and shape to tube to fit around the screw head.

I'd bet getting inside would reveal the manufacturer.

It has been over 20 years since I saw these. It took awhile to remember the brand.

I am pretty sure it   is Holtzer-Cabot or maybe Holtzer-Cabot electrical Company.

Makes Sense as HC was made in Jamaica Plain in Boston and it was found just outside of Boston. I do like the HC stuff so it is a bonus...Doug
