My truck had ugly cast steel wheels that would shake the truck at speed on the interstate.  I did some looking up on car-part.com and found a nice period set of aluminum OEM wheels.  They wanted $300 for the set.  Went to the yard and they didn't have them.  The owner said he would bring a set of his in and they would be $250 without the centers.  called the next weekend and he said he didn't have a full set.  Changed the search to wheels with rivets for appearance.  A yard had a set, with centers and all hardware for $35/ wheel.  That worked.  The wheels made a big difference in the ride and handling.
