BIN for $125 and $10 shipping. I didn't have a B1/E1 so I took a shot.

Cleaned up nicely (photo attached). Used Novus and Simichrome. Replaced the celluloid on the dial card. Slight paint loss on cradle tips. Wired as a 202 with a 5H dial dated 1951. Black cords and dial plate also dated 1951. Base dated 130. Receiver element in the E1 is dated 1934. Haven't had the transmitter open as I dread that chore. I'll fight that battle when I install cloth cords.

2AB dated 130 on the way. Just happened to be a BIN with the exact date I needed.

Questions:
   Would a B1 dated 130 have had a bullet transmitter in the E1?
   Would it have been originally wired as a 102?

Robert

E1B handsets made from 1928 to early 1931 had a logo with 9 lines (see photo). The 395B "bullet" transmitters were still being furnished until 1935. I've seen one F1 transmitter unit dated 1934, but no 625As earlier than II 35, based on the capacitor date.

E1B= 557B receiver, 395B transmitter, H3B cord
E1E= 557B receiver, 625A transmitter, H3B cord (or H3C starting in 1936)
