Hi All;
What I am interested in doing, is connecting a Battery (6V) to the phone and then talking in the Transmitter and hear my Voice in the receiver... I just don't want to ruin anything, with this low of a voltage , I don't think I will, But I am asking the people who know what they are doing....  I have checked out the Dial using my O-scope and the battery, it shows a wave form and that is good enough for now...  I Do NOT have a land line and Could not afford it at the present... I would be interesting to somehow hook it to my cell phone and use it that way.. Ha Ha...
THANK YOU Marty

Usually this should do, but if you have a strong battery the amp rate may rise to burn something. A resistor (100-150 ohms), or another phone in series will solve that problem.

Marty,
Use your grey toner (3volt ) for talk battery. set it for continuity. this has enough volltage to get sidetone and to use with intercom. It is low Amp so nothing will burn up.
