Always good to inspect a new to you lantern's fuel tank before filling it up.

Am working on a Vesta lantern and when rinsing out the fuel cup/tank, notice 5 fine jets of water squirting out the bottom. When drying the tank with acetone, it flowed quite freely out the bottom. So, after drying, I took it into a dark room and put it upside down on a very bright LED flashlight. I thought 5 or 6 holes. Found 16. Now, that would have been a mess it I just fueled it up without checking.

The images are taken with the room lights on and off.

The POR-15 is due to arrive tomorrow.

Reminds me of when messing about with my POSgen project generator, I had a rigged-up fuel tank using a Gatorade bottle as a little "fuel cell", and had forgotten I'd put vents in the bottom of it (the bottle was tied upside-down to the generator frame with a fuel hose shoved through the flip-top mouth-sucker thing) to let it breathe as it emptied, and was rather confused as to why I was spilling so much petrol, only to realise my error!!! Ended up just cutting out the bottom of the bottle and using it like a funnel instead...  ;D
