Dear Forum:

A number of years back, I had a AE40 that had been fitted with a miniature ringer; a WE M1A or the ITT equivalent...  I need some information on wiring it into a AE 40, please.

I recall its mounting points would align with the ringer mounting holes, and could be fastened with a couple machine screws and nuts, but I cannot recall where the miniature ringer's leads were connected.

I recall it was a retrofit as a regular AE 40 ringer was not on hand... I prefer to use the original AE 40 ringers where I can, but I would like to know where to connect the miniature ringer's wires if I ever have to use  that option.

Thank You,
RotoTech99

Dear Unbeldi:

Thank you, I honestly could not remember for sure, I just recalled a WE M1A or 153 ITT ringer worked nicely in the AE40's I had experienced them ringing in, and could not recall the connections used.
