This is just an amazing refurb and it is a very desirable first run 37 302, but $579...WOW!!!!!

I noticed that several of the bidders have a very low feedback score, and the winner only has "1". Do you suppose the buyer is clueless about the value, or maybe just trying to run up the price and then bail?
Dave ....I sell a lot of 302s to people with very low feedback. Everyone has to start at zero. Myself....I think it was someone with deep pockets who wanted a perfect display phone and has no idea of the prize he/she will receive. But they sure HIGH for it...IMHO...Doug
The "Art Deco" 302s are worth MUCH more than the ordinary ones ;)

Not near as much as the "Eames" ones!

Someone who bids that high for a phone is probably not new at purchasing old phones, and not new to ebay. I'm thinking someone is hiding under a new ebay handle. I suppose if we see the phone go back up for sale again in a couple weeks I'll have my answer.
That is a beautiful 302. Just think how much nicer it would have looked with a REAL exchange card in there. Probably would have exceeded $600. :) It is a nice eBay presentation. I'm sure it far exceeded the seller's expectation. Good for him/her.
