Found this in a Cadillac Michigan antique shop. It is a early 1950s Seth Thomas DEXTER Model with brass fitting and a walnut? wood case.. There was at least 3 variants of the model, the E, 2E and 4E. This one is the E. This particular clock has a company logo, SX WIRE PRODUCTS, on the dial under the 12 leading me to think it was a service award or retirement gift. This was a trademark of the Essex Wire Co which was bought out by Superior Cable.  Ahh! a telephone connection.
