I think everyone likes to find a phone that was made in their area. I was extremely lucky enough recently to find a candlestick made by Holtzer-Cabot. Holtzer-Cabot factory was in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston in the early 1900s. This is just how I found the stick in stunning condition, like it was never used. Notice the all metal transmitter. It just goes to show you, good phones are still out there, you just have to dig.....Doug
That's a beautiful phone. I don't think that I have seen a brass spit cup before.
Finding phones from my area is easy. I was born and raised in Chicago.

thanks Larry.....Hotzer-Cabot also had a Chicago factory. Start looking......Doug
Nice phone. It looks identical to my Stromberg Carlson, which is from around 1910. (except for the metal mouthpiece) How do you tell the difference between the two phones?
In the early 20s alot of the same parts were sold to the independents. Leich, SC, Kellogg and Holtzer Cabot all made sticks from the same parts. My stick was labeled inside the base. ...Doug
