AE 34 - finally got one

I finally picked up an AE 34.   Sent the brass parts to Dennis for refinishing.  The previous owner had removed the transmitter band with a pipe wrench, which left some scratches on the band and the mouthpiece, so I'm on the hunt for new parts.  Otherwise, the phone is in perfect shape.

That braided handset cord looks English (GPO).  Anyone here know if AE ever used cords that were GPO-style braids (as distinct from the braided Extensicords)?
