I cannot see the dial markings, and I am not as familiar with the positions on the #6 dial as earlier ones, but this much I know:

Red line cord wire to R on the dial
Black line cord wire to Bk on the dial
Green line cord wire to GN on the hookswitch
Yellow line cord wire to Y on the hookswitch

Red handset cord wire to R on the dial, along with the red line cord wire above
Black handset cord wire to BK on the dial, along with the black line cord wire above
White handset cord wire to W on the dial

Two jumper wires:

From BK on the hookswitch to Y on the dial
From W on the hookswitch to BB on the dial

The dial designations on the #6 dial are stamped on the face of the metal, and sometimes both covered by the screw heads and often not stamped very ledgibly.

Bill;
Thanks, It appears that the phone is wired correctly. Now I need to know the
correct wiring for the 425E network. The guy I got it from said it was working with the network that he gave me.
Here is a shot of the network.
Are the Yellow and Black wires required from the phone to the network ?

I think there is something missing.  All I see is the picture of a 685 subset.  Do you need instructions to connect the Imperial to that subset?

Bill;
I didn't post the wiring as I checked it according to your instructions and it appears correct.
Yes how do I connect it to the 425E subset. Are the Yellow and Black wires needed from the phone to the subset ?

Yes, all four wires are needed from the phone to the subset for antisidetone 202 operation.  Three wires red, green, and yellow are needed for sidetone 102 operation.  Use all four.

The 425E network has the same terminals as a 425B and would connect the same.

Thanks for all the help.
Here is the finished phone and the eBay link as promised.

I'm posting the auction number because each time I copy the eBay URL, my personal information comes up, and I'm not sure if everyone can read it.
