I recently got this Western electric B1 of shopgoodwill.com for $36, including shipping. I have converted it to a non-dial and E1 handset. Here are pictures before and after.

I dont think so, but its possible

From this angle, it doesn't look like a Western Electric Dial.

Looks to be an AE dial, but that's not unusual. Just replace it and wire it up, good to go.

It wasnt, thats why I replaced it.

I've never seen or. Heard of a B1 Continental but it's a cool phone now.
