problem with my model 202

  Hi, I was wondering if any of you could help me out. I recently bought a 4 wire D1 model 202 telephone and I want to connect it to a model 685 A subset. I gleaned as much information as I could from this great forum and I thought I had done it. I can dial  the phone and it works , its rings great and I can hear the person fine but they can't hear me! I'm stumped . I even tried another f1 transmitter that I had from my 302. I guess I just don't have the wiring quite right .Any help would be greatly appreciated.
